OUTLINE OF THE JOINT SUPERVISION “CHANNEL SCHEME” AND
ITS REGULATIONS
The Channel Scheme is a joint system,
where Egyptian students initially registered for PhD
degree in their home university in Egypt with an Egyptian
supervisor, may have an additional supervisor in a British
university. Both supervisors collaborate in the relevant
area of students’ research projects until the award
of the degree.
